Brigitta Tadmor

Brigitta Tadmor is the Global Head of Communications for the Novartis Institutes for BioMedical Research (NIBR). The group she leads is responsible for communicating the importance and excitement of NIBR's science, internally and externally.
 

Brigitta joined NIBR in June 2005 from the MIT Computational & Systems Biology initiative (CSBi) where she established an interdisciplinary education and research program involving faculty from MIT’s School of Engineering, Science and Management. At the same time, she worked at the MIT Office of Corporate Relations building strategic long-term relationships between industry and MIT and establishing
 

collaborations with pharmaceutical, biotechnology and life sciences companies. Before that, Brigitta was Managing Director in the publishing unit of Drug & Market Development, a publishing/consulting business that provides industry reports and client studies on technology & business strategies to executives in the pharmaceutical/ biotechnology industries. She is the author of a number of policy research papers on the bio-pharmaceutical industry and industry reports.
 

Brigitta earned her doctorate at The Weizmann Institute in Israel and did postdoctoral work at Harvard University. During her years of active research she published several papers in leading peer-reviewed journals.
